The Preschool, Kindergarten and Prep classes had an exciting and memorable time on their recent trip to Hellinikon Fire Station. The fire crew explained what happened when they got an emergency call and showed the children around the different fire engines. During the visit the children got to see some of the amazing fire-fighting equipment and they all had the chance to sit in a fire-engine. At the end they rang the sirens and had a go at squirting the hoses. Judging by their huge grins, the children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learnt a lot about the important work of firefighters.
