With grocery lists in hand, the Kindergarten and Prep classes headed off to the supermarket - an outing the children always enjoy. The process of writing down our shopping list, collecting money and picking out our groceries is an activity that the children find very exciting. They love choosing what goes into their shopping baskets, talking about nutrition and trying to work out whether they have enough money for what they want to buy. After we finished shopping, we headed back to school to make pizzas, fruit salads and enjoy all the goodies we had bought. A fun-filled educational day that is sure to be repeated.
